Protest demanding regulations on the custom of using live chickens in the Jewish ritual of Kapparot / Kaporos. Kapparot is a Jewish atonement ritual practiced by some Jews on the eve of the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur where a live chicken (or money) is waved over a person's head and then slaughtered in accordance with Jewish law. Kapparot is a Hebrew word and means atonements.
